Okay so after seeing results on Instagram and going down a research rabbit hole, I decided I was going to go to Istanbul, Türkiye for plastic surgery. Coming from someone who watched a million YouTube videos, read articles, saw healing photos, not to mention Dr. Yunus explaining the process in depth and telling me what to expect. I thought I was fully prepared and I STILL started overthinking during the recovery process. Not regret, but wondering what my results would be and if I’d be happy with the final result. You go through a lot of changes with healing, swelling, edema, asymmetry, etc., until about two and a half months. But if you trust the process and give your body time to rest and heal, it all comes together. I’m about to be at 3 months post-op.
