I travelled from out of state to see Dr. Larrabee and it was an all around wonderful experience. His staff was great at communicating with me prior to travelling and when I arrived everything was in order. The professionalism was top drawer, as was Dr. Larrabee's skill. Post operative care was also excellent and I have never had such good communication with any physician in the past. I highly recommend Dr. Larrabee.
Dr Larrabee is one of the best surgeons in facial plastics. I came to see him after a botched mid-facelift and a lip lift. He is compassionate, caring and answered all my concerns. My recovery was easy with minimal bruising and the results are just spectacular! I am so happy and forever thankful to Dr Larrabee, the nurses and the wonderful staff.
Dr.Larrabee is kind, warm and caring. After seeing him, I looked and felt better! His expertise (skill & knowledge) is nonpareil. A year later I overheard two friends talking about how good I looked: One asked, “How does she do it?” The other responded, “I think it’s the bangs.” !

Dr. Larrabee's Surgical Approach
Dr. Wayne Larrabee approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the skin at the level of the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system, the fibromuscular layer that supports the face).
Dr. Wayne Larrabee approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the skin at the level of the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system, the fibromuscular layer that supports the face). Rather than tightening only the surface, this technique addresses the deeper structural foundation of facial aging.
The deep plane method involves sub-SMAS dissection, meaning the surgeon releases and elevates the tissue layer beneath the SMAS as a single unit. This allows the cheek, midface, and jawline to be repositioned together, restoring youthful contour without an overly tight appearance.
