His medical education was completed at UCLA, one of the recognized academic medical centers in California. This foundation supports a career spanning three decades of surgical experience.

The deep plane facelift represents a central part of his practice. This technique works beneath the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of muscle and connective tissue that supports the face) to reposition deeper facial structures rather than simply tightening the skin.

Dr. Golshani also offers what his practice describes as a fusion facelift, an approach that combines techniques to address facial aging across multiple tissue layers. This reflects a philosophy of tailoring surgery to the individual anatomy of each patient.

His surgical focus extends beyond the face to the neck. A neck lift addresses the platysma (the flat sheet of muscle across the neck) and can complement facial rejuvenation for a more harmonious result.

Rhinoplasty is another area of specialization for Dr. Golshani. His practice lists closed, revision, ethnic, and scarless approaches, reflecting broad experience in reshaping the nose for both aesthetic and functional goals.

Beverly Hills has long been associated with aesthetic medicine and refined cosmetic surgery. Practicing in this setting, Dr. Golshani serves a clientele that values discretion, meticulous technique, and understated results.

His approach emphasizes natural-looking rejuvenation rather than an overly tightened appearance. The deep plane technique is often chosen precisely because it repositions tissue at a deeper level, which can reduce tension on the skin surface.

Recovery is an important consideration for anyone contemplating facial surgery. Dr. Golshani's practice guides patients through the healing timeline, from initial swelling to the gradual emergence of final results over several months.

Facial fat grafting and stem cell techniques appear among the services his practice describes. These methods can restore volume lost through facial aging, complementing the structural lift achieved through surgery.

Dr. Golshani's practice also includes a range of non-surgical and med spa treatments. This allows patients to pursue rejuvenation across a spectrum, from injectables to comprehensive surgical procedures.

He is recognized as a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon according to his practice materials. This dual grounding informs a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy and healing.

Patients considering surgery with Dr. Golshani can explore his work through his practice and through his Instagram presence at @facebydanielgolshanimd. Visual documentation helps prospective patients understand the aesthetic sensibility behind his results.

Over three decades, Dr. Daniel Golshani has built a practice grounded in surgical experience, individualized planning, and a commitment to facial rejuvenation that respects each patient's natural features.

Hi everyone! A lot of people have been asking me lately what I’ve been doing for my skin and overall health — and honestly, I’m as surprised as anyone by how much has changed these past few months. About four months ago, I basically stopped drinking alcohol. It wasn’t a big, planned decision — it just sort of happened naturally. I’ve been focusing more on my work, my health, and quiet time, and I realized I just wasn’t having my nightly cocktails anymore. My skin looks clearer, brighter, and healthier than it has in years. Here’s what’s been working for me lately: ☕ Chocolate collagen protein powder in my coffee every morning — it’s great for hair, skin, and nails. 💧 Tretinoin Cream (prescription) twice a week — it makes your skin red and peel at first, but it renews your skin like nothing else. 🧴 MANYO Pure Cleansing Oil (from Costco) — a Korean cleansing oil that melts off makeup completely and leaves your skin soft and clean. 🌸 Oil of Olay Regenerist — I use it every single night and smother my face with it. It keeps my skin hydrated and glowy. ✨ Differin Gel a couple of times a week, especially on my nose — it helps with blackheads, tightens pores, and smooths your skin. 💉 And yes, a Botox every three months! For hair, my doctor also recommended Viviscal supplements — they help strengthen and thicken hair, especially for women going through hormonal changes. I just started taking them and will share updates soon. At 58, I know I’m going through all the changes that come with this stage of life — and I’ve learned it’s not about fighting aging; it’s about taking care of yourself from the inside out. Small changes add up, and the glow truly comes from feeling good, not just looking good. 💖 And I also want to be honest — last week I had a mini face-lift and brow lift in Beverly Hills with Dr. Daniel Golshani, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. All my friends who have done this with other surgeons warned me about pain and my experience was the complete opposite! It’s been 10 days and I have no scars! He has hid them in my hair line! I felt pressure almost like my hair bands were too tight for 24 hrs only! Barely any bruising ! I did not even need heavy pain meds (and I am a baby for pain) I used Tylenol. He’s truly the best if you’re ever considering any kind of facial rejuvenation — whether it’s something subtle like a mini neck lift or something more comprehensive such as a facelift or brow lift. I also had a breast augmentation with him after years of breast feeding. I have NO SCARS ! He is the BEST!! He is also the best at nose jobs! I have seen his work! That is next on my list! Lol He’s the kindest, most talented surgeon I’ve ever met, feels like a long time friend, and I highly recommend him to anyone feeling the heaviness or looseness that comes with age and wanting to feel refreshed again. Dr. Golshani also happens to be the doctor who saved my life three years ago when he discovered a lump that turned out to be early-stage breast cancer. Because of his attentiveness and care, it was caught early — and I will forever be grateful. For me, it’s never been just about the outside. I truly believe in working on yourself from the inside out — prayer, reflection, self-love, and taking care of your body and mind. Next on my list is to begin a routine at the gym with some Hip hop dance classes and light weights. This year, for me, is about change and new beginnings — about stepping into the next chapter of my life with peace, gratitude, and a renewed sense of who I am. At 58, I’m finally learning what it means to really know myself — and sometimes, being alone is the only way you get there. ❤️ He’s truly one of a kind — compassionate, gifted, and genuinely cares about his patients. He’s the doctor who saved my life when I went to him for a breast augmentation 3 years ago (when he caught my breast cancer early) and now he’s the one who helped me feel renewed again through my recent neck refinement procedure. I trust him completely and recommend him wholeheartedly. 💖

If you have doubts like I did…( almost gave up trying to find the right doctor) then rest assured that today I am so happy I did not give in to doubts and fear. I found in Dr Golshani someone who understood me, someone capable to do the surgery, someone who took pride in his profession. To my surprise I left to do something important the following day only with a thin cover over the bandages. No pain pills (none) only arnica cream for bruises. So, yes, to me he is the best. I am ecstatic with my results, it changed my life!

Love Dr Golshani and his staff! I went for a Septorhinoplasty and he walked me through every steps with kindness and care and so did his staff, so all very nice. His staff gave me his cell to text him my status. Dr Golshani answered all my concerns, allowed me to see him quickly to reassure everything was going well. I’m 6 days post op and couldn’t be happier with the experience and procedure. Highly recommend Dr. Golshani and his seasoned staff.

Dr. Golshani's Surgical Approach

Dr. Daniel Golshani approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer rather than tightening the skin alone.

Dr. Daniel Golshani approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer rather than tightening the skin alone. The SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) is a network of muscle and connective tissue that provides structural support to the face and descends with age.

In a deep plane rhytidectomy (the medical term for a surgical facelift), dissection is carried into the plane below this SMAS layer. This sub-SMAS dissection releases the deeper retaining ligaments that anchor aging tissue in a downward position.
