Facial rejuvenation sits at the center of his surgical identity. His published work concentrates on the deep plane facelift — a technique that repositions the deeper facial tissues rather than simply tightening the skin surface.

He is described on his own practice materials as a surgeon who organizes training courses and master classes for colleagues from around the world. This teaching role reflects a career built around technique development rather than volume alone.

Revision surgery — the correction of results from earlier operations performed elsewhere — represents a demanding portion of his caseload. Dr. Michele Pascali is recognized for taking on secondary cases that many surgeons consider technically difficult.

His academic footprint includes authorship and co-authorship of scientific articles in journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery. Peer-reviewed publication is one of the clearer signals of a surgeon engaged with his field.

The deep plane facelift he performs addresses the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system — the layer of muscle and connective tissue beneath the skin). By working within this deeper layer, the technique aims to restore facial contour in a way that looks natural rather than pulled.

Dr. Michele Pascali also teaches within the Master of Aesthetic Surgery program at Tor Vergata University in Rome. His involvement in structured surgical education places him among the academically active surgeons in his region.

His periorbital work — rejuvenation of the area around the eyes — complements the facelift procedures he is known for. Combining these techniques allows for a more balanced facial result in appropriately selected patients.

Patients considering rhytidectomy (the medical term for a surgical facelift) often research recovery expectations closely. Dr. Michele Pascali's approach emphasizes tissue repositioning designed to support a natural healing trajectory.

Rome, the historic capital of Italy, gives his practice an international dimension. The city's standing as a cultural destination draws patients who combine consultation and surgery with time in one of Europe's most recognizable cities.

His reputation among peers, as described in his practice materials, positions him as a point of reference for other surgeons. Colleagues from multiple countries are said to attend the courses he organizes.

The founder of a plastic surgery academy, Dr. Michele Pascali extends his influence beyond individual patient care into education and mentorship. This dual role — practitioner and teacher — shapes how he approaches complex facial cases.

Beyond the deep plane facelift, his declared specialties include rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and broader facial and body procedures. His clinical breadth allows him to plan combined rejuvenation strategies where a patient's goals call for them.

For affluent patients seeking facial rejuvenation in a European medical setting, Dr. Michele Pascali represents an established option in Rome with two decades of focused experience and an academic profile documented through his publications and teaching.

Today I am 3 weeks post surgery with Dr Michele Pascali (Rome, Italy) & I am so relieved I choose him and his incredible team. I interviewed a number of top deep plane surgeons in London, England (I live London, England, UK) after ALOT of research I realised not one! ticked all the boxes I was looking for; that’s when I looked to Europe. I wanted the surgeon other surgeons learn from and follow…. but who also specialised in the “Deep Plane Face Lift” a term banded around by many surgeons but only a handful really know how to do. I’m 53 and given it’s my face I did not want to take chances. I also wanted a natural result not a face that looked plastic. It was a seamless surgery, Dr Pascali”s team are first class. Warm, knowledgeable, kind and fun, he’s got the best of the best around him. At 3 weeks post surgery I am blown away at how smooth the recovery has been I’m fully back at work 5 days now. I am so glad I found him. I can’t recommend (Prof) Dr Michelle Pascali and his team enough. Thank you xxx

i was botched by another surgeon that damaged my tissues and created a midface ptosis. Dr Pascali expertise and art helped retrieve my face. I wouldn't let any other surgeon touch me so i highly recommend him. The most incredible is his team that is sooo professional, the follow up is perfect way better than anywhere in France. They asked me to stay in Rome and come every 2-3 days to check my scars and clean it. Dr Gloria that is also a maxilofacial surgeon is very sweet , she answered all my question and reassured me. Frederica and all the assitant were amazing human beings with good vibes. The energy of the person touching your face is also very important and Dr Pascali has a good energy. I might need another round of fat transfer so i will see. Thank you to everyone in this clinic. Maya

Hi, I'd like to share my experience with Prof. Michele Pascali. I had unsightly bags under my eyes, as well as excess skin above them. I did some online research and compared several highly regarded cosmetic surgeons in Rome. I had a consultation with Prof. Michele Pascali and, following my instincts, I threw myself into this adventure. On November 11th, the doctor performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty on my eyes with an EXCELLENT result! I had asked for no modifications to the corners of my eyes, but only to remove the excess skin both above and below, and THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. I wanted a NATURAL result, and I got it. I'm SO HAPPY!! After 20 days wearing light makeup and a little foundation, I went to a public event and no one noticed that typical "remade" face (I hadn't told anyone about the surgery because I'm a very private person who doesn't show off my life). At the same time, I look in the mirror and no longer see that tired look, those inches of sagging skin, those puffy bags... I feel much better, and for whatever else I ever need to do, I know I'll go to him and not another surgeon because he's given me a fresh, rejuvenated look. In short, I'm very, very happy. I recommend him to anyone who's still undecided, like I was. I've read the reviews left and right (I just recommended him to a friend) because he's excellent, a true professional. As for his medical practice, the entire staff is highly qualified, attentive, and precise, and even the secretaries are very friendly and helpful. Everyone is ALWAYS very kind and always smiling from the first to the last day!! THANK YOU doctor, I'm grateful!!!

Dr. Pascali's Surgical Approach

Dr. Michele Pascali approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer rather than tightening the skin alone.

Dr. Michele Pascali approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer rather than tightening the skin alone. The SMAS — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system — is the sheet of muscle and connective tissue that lies under the skin and gives the face much of its structural support.

The deep plane technique involves releasing and repositioning this layer as a unit. Rather than pulling the skin tight, the deeper tissues are lifted and set into a more youthful position, which allows the overlying skin to drape naturally without tension.
