Okay so after seeing results on Instagram and going down a research rabbit hole, I decided I was going to go to Istanbul, Türkiye for plastic surgery. I messaged a lot of clinics and doctors I was considering. I really loved Dr. Yunus Sağlam's results! All his before and afters still looked like themselves, just beautifully enhanced, snatched, younger versions, which was the exact aesthetic I wanted for myself. Dr. Yunus Sağlam is obviously talented, but what stood out most to me was how patient, reassuring, and caring he was. From the beginning, choosing Dr. Yunus Sağlam and his team was an easy decision for me. He was the ONLY surgeon who personally took the time to FaceTime me. He explained everything about the process, asked me about my surgery goals, answered every question I had, never rushed me, and really listened. That was the moment I thought, "This doctor has amazing results AND really cares, this is my doctor." From the moment I arrived in Istanbul, him and the entire team were warm and accommodating. They answered all my questions and prepared me for surgery. The day before my surgery the doctor told me something that gave me further reassurance and that I’ll never forget. He told me not to worry and that he would take care of me the way he would take care of his own sister, as he does with all his patients and that’s exactly how I felt the whole time. His nurse Ayşe… I cannot say enough about her, she is AMAZING! She stayed with me all night in the hospital, was always by my side when I needed her, constantly checked on me, and was genuinely so caring and very attentive whenever I needed help with anything. She’s so sweet, the type of nurse you would trust and want your own loved one to have taking care of them. I also want to say this for anyone considering surgery: recovery is a journey. Coming from someone who watched a million YouTube videos, read articles, saw healing photos, not to mention Dr. Yunus explaining the process in depth and telling me what to expect. I thought I was fully prepared and I STILL started overthinking during the recovery process. Not regret, but wondering what my results would be and if I’d be happy with the final result. You go through a lot of changes with healing, swelling, edema, asymmetry, etc., until about two and a half months. But if you trust the process and give your body time to rest and heal, it all comes together. I’m about to be at 3 months post-op. I received a midface and temporal lift and I am VERY happy I chose Dr. Yunus Sağlam and his team. DR YUNUS is AMAZING best Dr ever!!!! If you're considering getting surgery I would definitely recommend him and his team no question.
