I traveled from France to have surgery on February 16th with Hakan Hocam. He's a surgeon I highly recommend because he clearly explains the entire pre- and post-operative process. He puts you at ease and answers all your questions and concerns, and he's incredibly kind and compassionate, a rare quality in a surgeon. You're amazing, Hakan Hocam!
I had removed my initial review as requested by Lily Dr Hakan's assistant, out of kindness. After we agreeded to do revision surgery for 360 lipo, chin lipo and free love handle liposuction. However, I am placing my review back up, please see the screenshot image of my previous review. Since Lily Dr's assistant was ignoring my messages before we decided to book in the revision since they decided not to give me a refund. I had to message Vantage clinic staff to request an update from her about my refund request. Then she started to message back after ages of leaving my messages unread on WhatsApp and me placing up my first 29th October 2024 review. I am writing this updated review because 2 days after revision surgery I realised my love handle area was uneven in shapes on both sides from the waist down to the upper hip area. I had surgery in July 2025, also In July 2025 I expressed my concerns. I was told initially it is swelling and he can't get 100% symmetry. However, 4 months post op it still looks the same as when I came out of surgery: uneven, pits and some bulge on the right side. I have followed after care advice since surgery in July 2025. In October 2025 I expressed the same concerns but the doctor said there is no noticeable difference in the unevenness of my love handle area. However, it is very noticeable and I have had another surgeon notice the irregularities when I seeked medical advice, also friends have pointed out the unevenness. Now I will have to get the love handle area liposuctioned again because its uneven. Last year when I had my first liposuctions, the dr left out my love handle area that left me with a horrible shape. Last year when I did complain when I saw him in person, the dr said my love handle area was bone but I proved with photo evidence it was fat later on through WhatsApp. So please be aware of when surgeon’s are in the wrong or make mistakes they will try to use medical terms to cover themselves to save their reputation. Another key thing I learnt from this experience is always see if the dr has many before and after pictures, especially on Instagram. Now for my chin, there is slight improvement. Previously when he performed chin lipo after surgery my chin still looked the same and I had 3 fat lumps under my chin. After revision my chin looks better but still one fat lump left that I will need to remove and get a neck lift. The neck lift was discussed in the consultation since he said I have loose skin. This year the dr gave me a compression board wrap which he never gave or informed me to wear last year. Always make sure Dr's provide you with detailed after care advice that you shouldn't have to research your self. Always keep evidence of communication and take progression pictures throughout the process. This is your money and your body and your life, you deserve high quality service. Your opinion and your experience matters. Last year I had surgery through Vantage clinic and this year with Heva. The quality of service was very good with Heva, the staff very nice and the hospital care was good. Only issue was when I arrived to my hotel in Turkey I was not on the system, one of the common complaints on Heva reviews I have seen. But Lily booked my hotel stay, I had to wait hours to get a room after the clinic opened to help correct the situation. The hotel kindly gave me a room upgrade.
I had breast augmentation surgery and I'm very happy with the result and the care I received. Everything was great. I highly recommend it.
