Dr. Few's Surgical Approach

Dr. Julius W.

Dr. Julius W. Few approaches the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a sheet of muscle and connective tissue that supports the face. This deeper plane of dissection distinguishes the procedure from more superficial skin-only lifts.

The deep plane technique involves releasing and repositioning facial tissue as a cohesive unit. Rather than pulling skin tight, the method elevates the underlying structures, allowing the face to settle into a more natural, rested position.
