Dr. Marco Tulio Marroquín

I very rarely gives reviews on anything, let along give 5 stars seeing I think there is always room for improvement, the only thing he could do better is to do it for free :) But honestly, I have no suggestions for him to improve. It's scary having someone operating on your face and leaving the country to do it adds even more fear. It took me about 6 months to decide to do it. I met with a surgeon here in the States, liked her, and felt she would do a good job, but the pricing was 2-3 times as high, so I started looking at MX. I did some homework, did a video conference w/another surgeon, but it was a big no; I felt like a number, he didn't really listen to me, just told me, and didn't answer some of my questions. It was the opposite with Dr. Marroquin, so I scheduled but was still very nervous, wondering what the heck I'm doing, but he/his office sent me all I needed; recovery house options, an idea of other charges that will happen, prescriptions, preop tests to make sure I'm suitable, what to expect, and after operation recovery options. And when I met him in person for the preop meeting and his fantastic assistant Barbara, who will also be a Dr. I understand, and a good one I'm sure, I was encouraged even more. He listened, took his time, answered all my add'l questions, and when I told him I surely don't want to do this again and if he had any add'l procedures he thought would help he mentioned a temporal brow life and I said lets do it and added it to the Deep plane facelift. Again I appreciated him modifying his schedule to fit it in. After, I woke up, looked in mirror and said, what did I do, am I craazy! But inch by inch; I night in hospital, another 9-10 days at the recovery house, 4-5 more meetings/followup and got back home a few days ago. Though I am far from recovered, I'm thrilled with my choice of Dr. Marroquin and I fully expect the results of his skills will be a vast improvement to my 70 year old sun worshipping and abused face. There's only so much anyone can do, I never had a movie star looks nor was I looking to change into something I never was. And moving forward if anything changes, if my face falls apart, I will repost but if you don't see another from me down the road, I keep my 5 star, which is the highest you can give. Lastly and I know this is a long review, but during my time with the Dr. I got to know him as a husband, father, and a man of integrity, who I respect, admire and honor. And who I now consider as not just a surgeon, but as a trusted friend who would always be welcome as a guest in my home. I found Dr Marcos Marroquin thru my friend in Los Angeles. Dr Marroquin is quick to respond to my messages and questions thru What’s App. I checked all his credentials thru the internet. All information was with great respect for his profession work. I had facial and neck work. I wanted to make sure I picked someone who would NOT make a mistake as you cannot hide mistakes on your face. I work in entertainment and your face is important. I flew into Guadalajara meeting Dr Marroquin the following day reviewing surgery details. Surgery was 8 hours with careful precision. After a week I had no bruises after stitch removal. Dr Marcos Marroquin is the Picasso of facial rejuvenation magic!

Not only is Dr. Marroquin, an exceptional surgeon he is a genuinely good person. Im a retired nurse of 30 years, worked in a very large teaching hospital so I have a lot of experience working with physicians from all over the world. His bedside manner is one of the best I have ever encountered, not to mention He’s a true artist of his craft. His work is beautiful! He is also available to his patients by what’s app and answers back quickly which was such a comfort to me. He is Located in Guadalajara so if you are traveling out of your country to have work done, don't be ambivalent! He arranges everything you need and provides suggestions for a therapist for lymphatic drainage and also recovery houses. I stayed at Rehaus per his suggestion and I could not have received better care. I recommend a recovery house! You will initially meet with him over video chat over WhatsApp. Do not let this deter you. I now live in Mexico and everything is done on WhatsApp. So don’t think this is some sort of shady deal. WhatsApp is how business is conducted here. Doctor M. will also want to ensure you are healthy for surgery and will require labs and a cardiologist clearance. Either in your country or once you get to Guadalajara. If you have these requirements done in Mexico he will arrange all appointments for you. I assure you these will be cheaper if you do them in Guadalajara. The labs were about 200$ and the cardiologist was around 100$ and It was so easy! He requires you be in Guadalajara 36 hours prior to to surgery to take care of these appointments, get prescriptions and purchase any medical garment you may need. I stayed in a hotel prior to my surgery. Took Uber or a taxi to take care of all my running around. If I had to do it over again I would have just stayed at the recovery house where everything is provided. It would have been much cheaper and easier to have done it this way. Not to mention much more comfortable. Hope my review is helpful to someone considering going out of their country for cosmetic surgery. Big HUGS to Dr. M. And all the staff that cared for me!
