Her clinical philosophy centres on a phrase she uses often: enhancing individuality over trends. In a landscape shaped by algorithms and uniform aesthetic ideals, Dr. Boorer emphasizes preserving each patient's natural character rather than imposing a single look.

The deep plane facelift sits at the heart of her facial work. This technique repositions the deeper structural layers of the face rather than simply tightening skin, which many surgeons associate with more natural-looking, longer-lasting rejuvenation.

Dr. Boorer describes her approach to surgery as modern, well-informed, logical, and sensitive to patient needs. That balance of technical precision and human connection tends to matter greatly to women considering facial surgery in their fifties and sixties.

Beyond the facelift, Dr. Catherine Boorer offers neck lifts, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty. This range allows her to address facial aging comprehensively, treating the neck, mid-face, brow, and eyes as interconnected regions rather than isolated concerns.

Her training is anchored in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, where she is listed as a Fellow (FRACS). She is also associated with the Australian and New Zealand Board of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Boorer maintains membership with the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). These affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with professional standards in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

Recovery is a subject Dr. Catherine Boorer treats with candour. She prepares patients for the realistic arc of healing after a deep plane facelift, from the early swelling of the first weeks to the gradual refinement of results over several months.

Her practice spans more than the face. Dr. Boorer's surgical scope includes breast surgery, body contouring, and paediatric reconstructive work such as cleft lip and palate repair, reflecting broad training across cosmetic and reconstructive disciplines.

Outside the operating theatre, Dr. Boorer is a mother of three teenage boys and a self-described lifelong wellness enthusiast. This personal grounding informs the measured, patient-centred tone many associate with her consultations.

Sydney itself shapes her practice. As one of Australia's principal medical hubs, the city offers a concentration of accredited hospitals and specialist surgeons, and Dr. Catherine Boorer operates within this established environment.

Her stated preference for individuality over sameness is more than a slogan. For deep plane facelift candidates, it signals a surgeon interested in subtle, proportionate rejuvenation rather than a dramatic or generic transformation.

Dr. Boorer's combination of two decades of experience, formal fellowship training, and a focus on facial surgery positions her as an established option for women researching deep plane facelift surgery in Sydney.

For patients weighing where and with whom to pursue facial rejuvenation, Dr. Catherine Boorer represents a Sydney-based surgeon whose credentials, procedure range, and philosophy are documented and verifiable through Australian medical registries.

Hi , I recently had a bilateral lower face & neck lift performed by Dr Catherine Boorer who was excellent both as a surgeon and as a caring doctor who treated me an individual, was never rushed, and listened to my concerns and questions , always addressing them immediately and answering them completely. Dr Boorer explained everything simply from the first consultation through pre-op , the operation and post-op , so that the whole process was seamless, smooth and painless. I am more than happy with the results which have exceeded my expectations. I recommend Dr Boorer unreservedly and without hesitation.

I really can’t recommend Dr Boorer more highly. I had lost a massive amount of weight and chose Dr Boorer as my surgeon after speaking with my other colleagues at work,(I’m a nurse). She already came highly recommended and after my first consultation I knew she was the right choice for me. I had a two part surgical procedure to remove excess skin from my stomach, back, then my arms and thighs. Her bedside and manner and post operative care have been excellent, if I had an issue I could call or email the rooms and would be replied to promptly and all my questions answered. Again, if you are looking for a surgeon who understands the woman’s figure and also provides incredible surgical skills, I think you’ve found the right Surgeon with Dr Boorer.

Dr. Catherine Boorer approaches the deep plane facelift as a structural procedure, working beneath the skin to reposition the deeper tissues of the face. Her stated philosophy of enhancing individuality over trends translates into rejuvenation aimed at restoring natural contours rather than creating a tightened or artificial appearance.

The deep plane technique differs meaningfully from older methods. Rather than pulling the skin taut, it addresses the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of connective tissue and muscle that supports the face) as a unified structural sheet.
