Her surgical focus is the deep plane facelift, a technique that repositions the deeper facial tissues rather than simply tightening the skin. This distinction matters to patients seeking natural-looking rejuvenation.
Dr. Rodman completed her medical education at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. This foundation informs her understanding of facial anatomy and the aging process.
Her professional path has been notably international in scope. Interviews describe a journey stretching from Chicago to Dubai before she established her practice in Houston, giving her exposure to diverse patient needs and aesthetic goals.
Dr. Rodman is frequently invited to speak at international conferences on facial plastic surgery. This kind of peer engagement reflects ongoing involvement in her surgical community.
Her clinical philosophy centers on affirming each patient's sense of self. Reports note that she has studied ethnographic interviewing techniques — a method of listening carefully to understand what patients truly want.
The deep plane facelift she performs targets the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of muscle and connective tissue beneath the skin). By releasing and repositioning this layer, the technique addresses facial aging at its structural source.
Dr. Rodman offers a wide range of facial procedures beyond the deep plane facelift. Her practice menu includes neck lift, deep plane neck lift, brow lift, blepharoplasty, lip lift, fat grafting, and facial contouring.
Her work also extends to gender-affirming facial surgery, including facial feminization and facial masculinization. This breadth reflects a surgeon comfortable across the full spectrum of facial anatomy.
Recovery guidance is a consistent part of her patient care. She emphasizes realistic timelines so patients understand the healing process before committing to surgery.
Dr. Rodman practices in Houston, one of the largest medical centers in the United States. The city's concentration of medical resources supports complex facial surgery and thorough aftercare.
Her approach favors thorough consultation over rushed decisions. Patients considering a deep plane facelift are encouraged to discuss their goals, medical history, and expectations in detail.
Dr. Regina Rodman represents a surgeon whose training, international perspective, and focused specialization align with the needs of patients seeking facial rejuvenation. Her Houston practice serves as the base for this focused work.
For those researching facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Rodman offers a combination of board certification, more than a decade of experience, and a dedicated focus on the deep plane technique — three factors worth weighing carefully.
What recent patients say
4.8 / 5 · 167 Google reviewsAfter consulting with about six other surgeons all over the country, I ultimately decided to have my procedure done with Dr. Rodman. This Doctor was the first person I spoke with about my 2nd chin implant revision. Thats a total of three separate surgeries just for the chin. Her approach involved shaving down the existing implant as opposed to replacing it. A couple of other doctors recommended replacing it with an expensive custom implant which came with its own set of potential complications. The main one being that completely removing an implant and replacing it can be more traumatic than just sculpting what is there. The doctors who suggested this couldn't really explain the drawbacks of shaving and I think it was because they were bent on selling a custom implant. I had no less than 4 video consultations with Dr. Rodman, which was never a problem for her, and we went into a lot of technical details which I also very much appreciated. With other doctors it always seemed like it was hard and frowned upon to approach them with follow-up questions or consultations. In the end, it was this feeling of trust that I had in my tummy that gave me the confidence to trust Dr. Rodman. Now finally with just 6 days post-op, my chin looks more normal than it ever has since I started this chin implant journey. My advice when it comes to implants is to pay close attention to the size and shape of the implant you are considering so you don't end up in the same position as I did with 2 chin revisions. If some procedure doesn't give you the result that you had hoped for, then this doctor is who you should see.
I can't even express how happy I am with the whole process of my surgery! Since the beginning, the staff has been very welcoming and helpful with all my questions and concerns. Also, Dr. Regina was very kind and professional and honestly made me feel very comfortable. Hands down, the best surgeon I ever worked with! I trust her with any surgery in my face and it's hard for me to say that for any other person. I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Rodman's Surgical Approach
Dr. Regina Rodman approaches the deep plane facelift as a structural procedure rather than a skin-tightening one.
Dr. Regina Rodman approaches the deep plane facelift as a structural procedure rather than a skin-tightening one. The goal is to reposition the deeper layers of the face so that results look natural and last longer than traditional methods.
The technique centers on the SMAS — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a continuous layer of muscle and fibrous tissue that sits beneath the skin and above the deeper facial structures. In a deep plane facelift, this layer is released and lifted as a single unit with the overlying skin.
