Dr. Foulad is listed as board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), a credential focused specifically on procedures of the face and neck. This distinction matters to patients who want a surgeon whose training centers on facial anatomy.
His medical education was completed at the University of California, Irvine, where he pursued the foundational training that supports his current surgical focus. Formal education combined with more than twelve years of hands-on practice shapes his clinical approach today.
Dr. Foulad focuses on the deep plane facelift, a technique that repositions the deeper facial tissue layers rather than simply tightening the skin. This approach is designed to address facial aging at a structural level, producing results that many patients describe as natural-looking.
Among the procedures he performs is the MIDS Neck Lift, a minimally invasive neck-contouring technique associated with his practice. This reflects an ongoing interest in refining approaches to the aging neck and jawline.
The lateral brow lift is another area of focus for Dr. Foulad, addressing the upper third of the face. Elevating the outer brow can soften the appearance of the eyes and forehead, complementing broader facial rejuvenation.
Beverly Hills is one of the world's most recognized destinations for facial plastic surgery, a city where surgical craftsmanship meets a culture of discretion and high expectation. Dr. Foulad practices within this competitive and demanding environment.
His clinical philosophy centers on detailed explanation and patient understanding. Patients often note that he takes time to describe procedures clearly, allowing them to make informed decisions about facial rejuvenation.
The deep plane facelift works within the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system, the layer of muscle and connective tissue beneath the skin). By releasing and repositioning this layer, Dr. Foulad aims to restore youthful contours without the pulled appearance associated with older techniques.
Recovery is a subject Dr. Foulad addresses thoroughly during consultation. He guides patients through the healing timeline, from the early weeks of swelling to the gradual emergence of final results over several months.
His practice also offers a broad menu of complementary procedures, including lip lift, chin implant, buccal fat removal, facial fat grafting, rhinoplasty, and eyelid surgery. This range allows him to tailor facial rejuvenation to each patient's individual anatomy and goals.
Beyond surgery, the practice provides non-surgical options such as chemical peels, microneedling, injectable fillers, neuromodulators, and laser skin resurfacing. These treatments can support surgical results or serve patients seeking subtler refinement.
Dr. Foulad maintains a public presence on Instagram at @drallenfoulad, where prospective patients can view aspects of his work and approach. His clinic also supports out-of-town patients through dedicated resources and accommodation guidance.
For women considering a deep plane facelift in Beverly Hills, Dr. Allen Foulad represents an established, facially focused surgical practice grounded in board certification, more than a decade of experience, and a stated commitment to patient education and natural-looking rejuvenation.
What recent patients say
5.0 / 5 · 47 Google reviewsGreat doctor! Very kind and clear. Explains things simply, listens well, and helps a lot. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience getting a Buccal Fat Reduction with Dr. Foulad. I consulted with several other plastic surgeons in the area and he was the only one who was focused, efficient, and helpful, instead of putting on a big unnecessary production. He never tried to upsell me on anything I didn't actually need, which made it easier to trust him. And he took the time to answer all of my many questions. I appreciated that Dr. Foulad was clear about what he could and could not achieve with the procedure, and now that it is done I can say that he definitely under promised and over delivered. The surgery itself was quite easy and I felt very comfortable even without anesthesia. I was amazed how quickly I recovered afterwards. And most importantly, I'm very happy with the results. Most of my friends and coworkers don't realize I got any work done, but I've definitely gotten more complements on my appearance lately. :)
Dr. Foulad has a heart of gold. I visited with him a number of times for treatment of a gummy smile, and during the most recent visit I had a more medically complex situation to address. I so appreciate Dr. Foulad's honesty and recommendation, and above all his compassion during this visit. Few doctors I know of have shown me the kindness that he demonstrated, and I will never forget it. He is a gem in this world.
Dr. Foulad is an artist and he approaches every face like his canvas. I had never undergone any cosmetic surgery and was extremely cautious, going to multiple doctors for consultations over a year-long period. Honestly, I didn't know if I was going to actually go through with the procedure because I was terrified but Dr. Foulad impressed me with his attention to detail, his enthusiasm, his professionalism; our consultation was over an hour where Dr. Foulad explained his ideas and surgical technique in depth. I felt safe and my intuition told me I was in excellent hands and should take the leap. I am thrilled that I did! I was able to go out in public after 10 days and no one had any idea I had undergone surgery because I looked like myself, just younger. This is exactly what I had hoped for -- natural results, turning the clock back a little, no one having any idea!

Dr. Allen Foulad approaches the deep plane facelift as a structural procedure that repositions the deeper layers of facial tissue rather than relying on skin tension alone. This technique is designed to correct facial aging at its source, restoring youthful volume and contour along the midface, jawline, and neck.
Central to the deep plane method is the SMAS — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of muscle and connective tissue that lies beneath the skin and supports the facial soft tissues. As this layer weakens and descends with age, the classic signs of facial aging appear: deepened folds, jowling, and a loss of definition.

Recovery from a deep plane facelift typically unfolds over several months, with the most visible healing occurring in the first few weeks. Dr. Allen Foulad guides patients through each stage of this timeline during consultation and provides detailed aftercare instructions.
During the first one to two weeks, patients can expect swelling and bruising, which are a normal part of the healing process. Because the deep plane technique repositions deeper tissue layers, some tightness and numbness are also common and gradually resolve.
