Dr. Brian Dickinson

Dr. Brian Dickinson is absolutely the best! In the span of two years, my daughter and wife both were diagnosed with breast cancer and in each case, Dr. Dickinson treated them with the utmost care, respect and kind bedside manner. He also explained very complicated procedures with ease and the confidence of a highly skilled surgeon. Dr. Dickinson was and is always willing to answer any and all questions at any time of the day. My wife had a double Mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. She is very happy with the results and excellence of Dr. Dickinson’s work. We are so thankful!

I was referred to Dr. Dickinson by a trusted surgical nurse who had seen his work firsthand and I am endlessly grateful I followed that advice. After a complicated mastectomy with another plastic surgeon, I faced severe complications, including a serious infection in my expander that ultimately landed me in the hospital. It was during my second visit with Dr. Dickinson that he caught the issue and likely saved me from far worse outcomes. Despite being farther from home, choosing Dr. Dickinson was the best decision I could have made. He was by my side every step of the way: visiting me first thing every morning while I was hospitalized, making sure I felt informed and supported, and coordinating my aftercare with such compassion and thoroughness. When it came time for my reconstructive surgery, he gave me the guidance I needed, not just medically, but holistically. He asked about my nutrition, protein intake, and helped me understand exactly what my recovery would require to heal safely and completely. His honesty, professionalism, and calming bedside manner made all the difference during one of the hardest chapters of my life. Whether you’re choosing this surgery or facing it due to a diagnosis, I truly cannot recommend Dr. Dickinson enough. His skill, care, and integrity are unmatched. He’s not just an exceptional surgeon, he’s the kind of doctor you hope for when everything feels uncertain.

Dr. Dickinson is my favorite human of all times, he will always be my superhero and a saint in my eyes. I have the most immense respect and gratitude for all that he has done for me. What distinguishes him from other surgeons is that he is extraordinary, not ordinary. He gives you personalized care, and doesn't treat you just as a “chart number”. As his patient I have always felt, he has given me the personalized care that best fits my needs. Never once did I feel, I was a marked checkbox from a standardized checklist. Dr. Dickinson has done more for me, than any other surgeon, from my previous surgical experiences. His ingenuity helped me overcome my fear and the lack of courage I had to proceed with this recent procedure. Primarily due to negative experiences, from past surgical procedures of other surgeons. What I value the most of him is his honesty, respectfulness, his humble heart and sincerity. He takes the time to truly listen to what concerns you as his patient. Takes a thorough health history and does not judge. Every phone call that was made to his office was personally returned by him. During my hospitalizations he came in to see me every single day and assured all was well. He is innovative and very skillful with an impressive CV. His years of experience speak for itself. He is well known by other physicians, respected and admired by all hospital staff. Additionally his pose and professional etiquette is beyond impressive. I recently came back to him and kindly asked if he would oblige my request. By collaborating care with another surgeon. A few months ago, I had a surgical procedure that involved my pelvic/ abdomen area, performed by a Gyn/Uro surgeon. One of the areas of access was the abdominal region. Dr. Dickinson did the closure of my abdomen, as always the results are impressively beautiful. As the months go by, his work looks even more fabulous and remarkable as the process of healing continues. One of my favorite therapies that he recommends is HBO(hyperbaric oxygen therapy) post-operatively, it is super effective and the results are positively beneficial. I’m no spring chicken, the last time my abdomen looked contoured and vivacious, was thirty years ago. Prior to my child bearing years, I was blessed with three beautiful “Gems”, motherhood speaks for itself. I can not be more jaunty of my amazing results. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr.Dickinson. Once again Dr. Dickinson is my super hero, there is not a day that I count my lucky stars, and very grateful to the lord. That he choose surgical medicine as his profession. For a second time now he has taken care of me, with such finesse and compassion. He is genuinely extraordinarily innovative, he thinks outside the box. Caters to your uniqueness all the way. He is kind and humble, with skills like no other. During my hospitalization he came in and checked on me daily, answered all my questions. Brings in a team of doctors to work together with him, so that you have the optimal care in todays modern world of medicine. With out hesitation in the future when needed I will always come back to Dr. Dickinson. He cares and respects his patients truly wholehearted, you can not find another surgeon with better qualities than this. His office staff is very welcoming and warmed hearted, great customer service and helpful. He is a true '"gem", I will always be so grateful for your extraordinary care. I am truly the Lucky one!!!! I recently had surgery performed by Dr. Dickinson, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. His extensive knowledge as a surgeon was evident throughout our consultation, as he took the time to explain the procedure clearly and address all my concerns with patience. His professionalism made me feel comfortable and valued as a patient, and I left the office feeling informed and confident in my treatment plan. I’m thrilled with my recovery and the outcome of the surgery. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of professional care.
