What recent patients say
4.9 / 5 · 34 Google reviewsAs I became increasingly concerned about the sagging around my face and neck and my nasolabial folds, I began considering both a facelift and a neck lift. While researching various clinics, I discovered through an AI search that Dr. Ryu is world-renowned in the field of deep plane surgery. I subsequently received a consultation at R&Wood Plastic Surgery. During the consultation, he explained the surgical methods and recovery process in detail, which instilled confidence in me, and I decided on the surgery date that very day. The staff were also very kind and helpful before and after the surgery, allowing me to undergo the procedure and post-operative care with peace of mind. Although I experienced some swelling and slight discomfort for a few days after the surgery, these gradually subsided over time, and I could feel the changes as both my facial and neck lines became more defined. Now in my third week, while some swelling remains, my jawline and neckline have become much clearer, and I feel a natural overall lift, so I am very satisfied. I was particularly surprised and grateful that there was almost no post-operative pain. Seeing many patients from abroad undergoing surgery here makes me hope that R&Wood Plastic Surgery becomes more widely known in Korea as well.
I had an excellent experience with RNWOOD and Dr. Ryu. I had two consultations before my procedure, and both times Dr. Ryu and the staff made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Ryu is clearly very renowned and experienced, but what really helped me make such an important decision was how at ease they made me feel throughout the process. The entire team was very professional, warm, and attentive. Communication was clear, and they were very accommodating with the questions or concerns I had. I never felt rushed and always felt that they genuinely cared about my comfort and wellbeing. After the procedure, I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have much bruising or swelling. It wasn’t long before I was able to return to my daily activities. One concern I had was that the back of my ears remained a little red even after I returned to Singapore. However, the RNWOOD team continued to support me through the postoperative healing process. They patiently explained what I should do and reassured me along the way, and the redness eventually went away completely. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. From consultation to aftercare, Dr. Ryu and the entire RNWOOD staff were attentive, supportive, and highly professional. I truly felt that I was in good hands. I would definitely give them a five-star rating and highly recommend them to anyone considering treatment.
This is a jewel in Korea. I was blessed to find this place after much research and several visits to other cosmetic centers suggested by AI. Dr Ryu is most professional and well renowned international cosmetic doctor. I was impressed on my first visit when he patiently addressed all my concerns and made me feel most comfortable with such a crucial step in my life. I put my trust in him and he did not disappointed. The staff are most friendly and welcoming facilitating the process and accommodating to all your needs. They all speak English and make the recovery feel like a smooth ride. Definitely recommend Dr Ryu and his team with 5 stars!!
I'm 2 month after surgery. I got a "Full house": Deep Plan Facelift, Submentoplasty, Fat Graft and Endoscopic forehead lift. Dr Ryu and RNWOOD team provided an excellent service and treatment. Look at the changes and compare! I'm 6 month after surgery and found it right to edit my review. I'm so happy and pround that I did the surgery in the best clinic from my point of view - RNWOOD Plastic surgery! Dr Ryu and the team - you are amasing! Look at my last pictures and compare.

Dr. Minhee Ryu performs the deep plane facelift by releasing the facial retaining ligaments and lifting the deeper structural layers rather than pulling only on the skin. According to his practice materials, this approach is designed to produce more complete and natural rejuvenation.
The technique centers on the SMAS layer — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a sheet of connective tissue and muscle that lies beneath the skin. In a deep plane facelift, the surgeon works underneath this layer rather than on top of it.
