Lisa Rinna is perhaps best known for her iconic lips — the result of silicone injections in her 20s, corrected in part by a 2010 lip reduction. Beyond her famous lips, Rinna has been open about using Botulinum toxin and is rumored to have had facelift procedures. In her 20s, Rinna received liquid silicone injections in her upper lip. At the time, silicone injections were a common lip augmentation method, but the material is now largely banned for cosmetic use due to the risk of granulomas, migration, and permanent disfigurement. Unlike modern hyaluronic acid fillers (such as Hyaluronic acid filler or Hyaluronic acid filler) which dissolve naturally or can be reversed with hyaluronidase, silicone is permanent and extremely difficult to remove.

She told PEOPLE: "I'd get photographed, my lips would look a certain way, and then people would start to talk," and afterwards: "You can see my teeth when I smile now." Complete removal of silicone risks significant scarring and deformity, and her lips remain fuller than before the injections, but appear more proportionate than at their peak.

Beyond her lip story, Rinna has been forthright about using Botulinum toxin and has joked about being a "Botulinum toxin queen."
