Dr. Rob Winterton

Rob Winterton is a highly trained plastic surgeon with 20 years of experience in plastic and cosmetic surgery. He completed his surgical training in Yorkshire and Manchester before gaining further experience in Adelaide, Australia. He was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Manchester University Foundation Trust in 2014. Dr. Winterton is a full member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). He is also fully certified in Cosmetic Surgery and non-surgical cosmetic procedures by the Intercollegiate Cosmetic Surgery Oversight Committee.

Dr. Winterton's clinical focus includes a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures, with a particularly busy practice in body recontouring, especially for complex cases and patients after massive weight loss. His expertise also extends to functional abdominoplasty involving complex muscle repair or hernias, as well as paediatric and adult hand surgery, major abdominal wall and hernia reconstruction, and perineal reconstruction. He has been heavily involved in medical education since 2009, serving as Curriculum Lead for Plastic Surgery on the National Training Committee and Lead Clinician for Plastic Surgery in Manchester from 2018-2021.
