The deep plane facelift is a technique that works beneath the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of connective tissue and muscle in the face). Dr. Kremer's focus on this method reflects a preference for repositioning deeper tissue rather than simply tightening skin.
Dr. Kremer offers a range of facial procedures beyond the deep plane facelift. His listed specialties include the TBT eyelift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, and brow lifts designed to open and refresh the upper face.
Facial aging affects several layers at once, from skin laxity to the descent of deeper fat pads. Dr. Kremer's approach addresses this by treating the underlying structure, which many surgeons associate with longer-lasting and more natural results.
His German training and years of practice in the United Kingdom give Dr. Kremer a cross-border professional background. He is registered with both the GMC in Britain and the DGPRÄC, the German society of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons.

What recent patients say
4.3 / 5 · 34 Google reviews5 years ago, after much research and consideration I decided to go for a consultation with Dr Kremer to discuss having surgery on my neck and upper eyes. I was nervous but needn’t have been as he was so friendly and positive from the start. He talked me through everything I needed to know and what my expectations should be. After more consideration I agreed to go through with the surgery. After thorough pre op visits with Dr Kremer and the anaesthetist, the day came for my surgery. Obviously I was nervous but everyone was so supportive and friendly, I soon settled down. I remember coming round after the op and being comforted by a lovely nurse who really looked after me. Dr Kremer came to check on me and I settled down to good nights sleep. The next morning I had my dressing removed and although swollen and bruised I was thrilled because I could already see the transformation. The after care I received was first class and when I went back to have the stitches removed and the later check up it was like visiting old friends, I always felt so welcome and special. The ultimate results from my surgery gave me heaps of confidence, I felt like a young woman again. I noticed how more people spoke to me when I was out and about and I loved it when people guessed my age as it was usually 10 to 15 years younger than my actual age! 5 years on I am still really happy with the way I look… natural and fresh with no visible scars. The whole team around Dr Kremer are wonderful - his PA Antoinette, was lovely and was always available for advice and support. It was a really big decision to have surgery but I am so glad I made the choices I did, Dr Kremer not only knows his stuff but he really cares about his patients. I have nothing but good memories of my time there… oh and I have a beautiful new husband too!
I had the facelift about a year ago. I am very happy with the outcome. My mother-in-law who visited me post-surgery mentioned that I look very natural. I had consultations with three surgeons and Dr Kremer is the only who touched my face. One surgeon suggested fat transfer to increase the volume and take off some of the fat right under my lower lashes, when I asked Dr Kremer about this, he explained that the fat collected elsewhere from the body for the transfer will behave differently from the original facial fat, hence the outcome is not predictable. The other surgeon suggested the facelift I need from one of the three types of facelifts he offers, which is very confusing. The consultation with Dr Kremer was straightforward, he explained the procedures I need to solve my concerns, he pulled my face and neck up and pointed the locations for the insertion and closures and answered my questions to my satisfaction. Antoinette was very helpful during the whole journey, especially during my post-surgery recovery, she showed my husband how to remove the upper and lower blepharoplasty stitches on a video call on a Saturday. She answered all my other post-surgery questions quickly. I wish I had this done a few years ago as soon as after my menopause. The statistic shows that the collagen lose can reach up to 30% in the skin in the first 5 years after menopause, I only started to research the information about facelift when I was 56 and couldn’t bear to look at myself in the mirror anymore. Another bonus from the facelift is that my pigmentations on my face magically disappeared after the surgery. I have used laser treatment and whitening cream before but none of them has ever worked. My niece even asked me if I used any special skincare products when she visited me a few months after my surgery. I would recommend Dr Kremer for anyone who are considering the same surgery (facelift, neck lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty) It is 100% money well spent.
After my eyelid surgery, I feel like my eyes finally reflect how alert and awake I feel inside. Even small things like makeup or sunglasses feel different — I feel refreshed every day!
Dr. Kremer performed my deep plane facelift and necklift, and I’m thrilled with the results. My face looks naturally younger, my neck is sculpted, and it feels so good to see myself in photos again. It’s subtle, yet the impact is huge.

The deep plane facelift performed by Dr. Dirk Kremer works beneath the surface layers of the face to reposition deeper tissue. This distinguishes it from older techniques that primarily tightened skin.
Central to the procedure is the SMAS, the superficial musculoaponeurotic system. This is a continuous layer of connective tissue and muscle that supports the cheeks, jawline, and neck, and it weakens as facial aging progresses.
