It is not the right answer for everyone. Patients whose main concern is volume loss rather than descent are often better served by fat grafting, either alone or as a first stage. Patients in their thirties with minimal laxity rarely require a full deep plane lift, and Dr. Manav will say so rather than perform an operation that does not match the problem. Where there has been previous surgery, extensive filler or significant medical risk, the plan changes accordingly — and sometimes the honest recommendation is to wait.
