Dr. Guidicelli's Surgical Approach

Deep plane facelift surgery requires precise anatomical knowledge and technical skill to safely dissect beneath the SMAS layer while preserving facial nerve branches. MD Thomas Guidicelli's approach to this procedure involves releasing the deep plane attachments that anchor facial tissues, allowing comprehensive repositioning of the midface, jowls, and neck structures.

Deep plane facelift surgery requires precise anatomical knowledge and technical skill to safely dissect beneath the SMAS layer while preserving facial nerve branches. MD Thomas Guidicelli's approach to this procedure involves releasing the deep plane attachments that anchor facial tissues, allowing comprehensive repositioning of the midface, jowls, and neck structures. The SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) represents a fibromuscular layer that acts as the facial soft tissue foundation, and proper manipulation of this layer determines both the naturalness and longevity of surgical results.

During the procedure, the surgeon creates a continuous flap that includes skin, SMAS, and deeper tissues as one unit, maintaining blood supply and reducing tension on skin closures. This unified tissue movement distinguishes deep plane technique from traditional SMAS plication or SMASectomy approaches, which treat superficial and deep layers separately. The sub-SMAS dissection extends medially toward the nasolabial folds and marionette lines, releasing retaining ligaments that contribute to facial aging patterns.

Got several procedures from Dr Guidicelli. I first got a tummy tuck in November 25 and was very pleased with the results. Then February 26, I got a breast lift and augmentation with a neck liposuccion followed by a deep plane facelift and to finish a eye lift (blepharoplasty), all at once. It was a long operation for Dr Guidicelli and for myself but we had discussed about it and we both felt confortable going ahead with it. and I was right to trust him because the results are incredible! 2 months after surgery, the facelift scars are barely visible, my face is transformed (I look 10 years younger) and my eyes look more alive. and it's just been 2 months! Regarding my breast, all is great too and I am really happy with the results (I asked Dr Guidicelli to fit a certain bra and he made it happen). I am so happy with the results that I have asked for a new procedure with Dr Guidicelli again. I trust him in telling me the truth. He is trustworthy and a really good professionnal. If he tells me no, I respect his words but if he agrees with me, then I will go ahead and let him work his magic! All in all, if you want to improve something esthetically, I would go and see Dr Guidicelli!
