Before these operations, I had dozens of consultations with doctors, meticulously choosing one. Dr. Gökhan performed reconstructive surgery on my breasts, which were removed due to breast cancer. I met Dr. Gökhan through the fact that the general surgeon who was going to perform my mastectomy (removal of breasts) was going to be accompanied by a plastic surgeon during the operation. So, despite being such an image-conscious person, and going through the most psychologically sensitive period of my life with breast cancer, I had no choice but to have Dr. Gökhan perform the surgery. I'm writing all this so you can understand the anxiety I felt until I met him face-to-face. Imagine, I didn't even read the Google reviews so I wouldn't see anything negative. But the moment I saw him, I felt relieved, and I immediately felt safe. During the preparations and consultations leading up to the surgery, my anxiety was zero. And now I say, "Thank goodness," and I even consider Dr. Gökhan a comfort from God to help me overcome the sadness of this illness. I am grateful to the general surgeon who brought us together, and I will forever pray for Dr. Gökhan. His heart, knowledge, and skill are admirable, his communication is gentle and trustworthy. I wish he had performed all my other operations as well. Meeting him was a great stroke of luck for me, and I am thankful. While he is so great, his team is also wonderful; I can't write my comments about them to avoid making this too long, but let's just say they're a good match 🙏 And I want to say this: as those who know will attest, the appearance of a healthy breast and a breast that has undergone mastectomy are incomparably different, but I'm almost comparing them 🙈 If you've come close enough to him to read this review, it means luck has knocked on your door; without a doubt, welcome him.

My reason for choosing him was that he explained all the risks clearly and concisely from the very beginning, assessed the process realistically, and his approach was definitely not solely focused on financial gain. While some doctors told me I could come and go very quickly because I live abroad, Dr. Temiz specifically emphasized that I should stay at least a week. This alone showed that he prioritizes the patient's health above all else. Even after a short phone call, I was sure he was the right doctor; his approach and the confidence he instilled were truly impressive. Before coming to Turkey, his assistant team was constantly in contact with me. They explained everything I needed to do in detail before the surgery and never left me alone throughout the process. From the moment I entered the hospital, both the surgical assistant and the doctor's personal assistant were constantly by my side. They patiently and clearly answered all my questions before the surgery, which greatly reassured me psychologically. The doctor himself came to see me again before the surgery. He came to see me immediately after the surgery, and the next day, we stayed in touch both in person and through communication, checking on me and providing detailed information. Even days after the surgery, we're still in contact. His assistants regularly send messages, request photos, and closely monitor my recovery. A few days after the surgery, I also went to the doctor's office for check-ups. I was very well received. His office is in a very nice location and easily accessible. The doctor checked me exactly as he had explained from the beginning, changed my dressing himself, and took my photos. His meticulousness and attentiveness were truly reassuring. It's really hard to find such a caring, transparent, realistic, and trustworthy team. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gökhan Temiz.
