What recent patients say
4.8 / 5 · 240 Google reviewsSecond surgery with Mr. Kretsis, the previous one was 8 years ago when I broke my nose. This time deep plane facelift. I trusted Mr. Kretsis again, because in addition to the fact that he is an excellent surgeon, he treats the male face differently than the female face. An important criterion for me as I did not want to lose my masculine features after plastic surgery. Of course I was justified in my trust in Mr. Kretsis. Something I also appreciated is that initially he is precise and "as much as" but after the surgery he was always by my side and willing to answer whatever possible and unlikely I was thinking
"After five failed breast surgeries, I ended up seeing Dr. Vasilios Kretsis, and my experience was excellent. I could not have imagined that the result would be as accurate as he described it to me. His communication was impeccable, and I want to give special thanks to his anesthesiologist. Her calmness, care, and professionalism made me feel safe. She is, without a doubt, the best combination of doctors I could imagine."
For me, there is only one plastic surgeon, Dr. Kretsis. He is an exceptional scientist and person, with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism. I feel immense joy and deep gratitude for having met him. He took on my case after a failed blepharoplasty that I had done years ago and managed to repair the problem in the best possible way. The result was impeccable. I am sincerely grateful to him and thank him warmly from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend him. ❤️🙏

Dr. Kretsis's Surgical Approach
Dr. Vasileios Kretsis performs the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer to reposition facial tissue at its structural foundation.
Dr. Vasileios Kretsis performs the deep plane facelift by working beneath the SMAS layer to reposition facial tissue at its structural foundation. The SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) is a supportive sheet of muscle and connective tissue that sits between the skin and the deeper facial structures.
In a deep plane facelift, the surgeon releases the ligaments that anchor this layer to the underlying bone and muscle. This sub-SMAS dissection allows the sagging tissues of the midface, cheeks, and jawline to be lifted as a unified unit.
