5.0 / 5 · 225 Google reviewsI highly recommend Dr. Frankel and his entire staff. My initial consultation was made to address my bilateral ptosis. From the moment I met Dr. Frankel I felt at ease. He has such a calm demeanor. Dr. Frankel performed an aesthetic evaluation of my face as well as taking photos from different angles to determine the best treatment plan for me. My medical history was discussed at this time as well as any questions or concerns that I had. I knew during this consultation that I felt very comfortable in choosing Dr. Frankel to perform my surgery. My 2nd appointment which was approximately 2 1/2 weeks prior to my surgery, I met with Dr. Frankel's nurse. This appointment was extremely helpful and very thorough. My medical history was discussed, medications as well as supplements that needed to be stopped prior to surgery were all addressed. Pre and post-op instructions were gone over and discussed. A care package was given to me consisting of essential items needed for my recovery which was very nice. A bag with a beautiful robe and slippers were given to me as well. The post-op sheets were extremely helpful and I referred back to them several times during my recovery period. The evening before surgery the CRNA called me to introduce herself and allowed me time to address any questions or concerns that I had. The big surgery day was finally here and I do admit that I was somewhat nervous. Dr. Frankel, the CRNA and the nurses all eased my fears and before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep. I never felt any pain or discomfort during the procedure. I only remember someone giving me a sip of water in recovery, and that was the best tasting water that I ever had. It was so refreshing. Sometimes it's the little things in life that leave such a big impact. I found out later that it was Dr. Frankel's nurse that I met 2 1/2 weeks prior who gave me that water. For me, the first 3-4 days post-op were the hardest. The little pain that I did feel consisted of a headache which was relieved by taking Tylenol. The hardest part for me was trying to sleep in more of an upright position. A week after my procedure I had a scheduled appointment to meet with Dr. Frankel to see how well I was healing. Post-op appointments are part of the treatment plan which I really appreciate. At this time I'm nearly 3 months post-op. I'm still in the healing phase and I know it takes time for the final results. I can't believe how much my field of vision has improved. I never realized just how bright the sun can actually shine in Cleveland, Ohio! Thank you Dr. Frankel and staff.
Dr. Frankel is a diamond in the rough. By rough I mean a humble surgeon in a sea of narcissists. You don't have to be humble to be an excellent surgeon but it is refreshing to find an exceptionally skilled surgeon with a caring bedside manner. I spent years researching deep plane facelift surgery and I chose Dr. Frankel due to his double board certification, his specialty in facial plastics and reconstruction as well as his humanitarian efforts for those less fortunate. I was not disappointed! I am only 8 weeks out from my surgery and I am very pleased with my experience thus far. The staff is knowledgeable, quick to respond and welcoming. The office and surgical suite is modern, clean and relaxing. Pricing was fair and additional surgeries were not suggested or pushed during my consult. My incisions are barely noticeable and my result is natural. Dr. Frankel is a gifted surgeon and a very good person. I would highly recommend him to anyone as you only get one chance to put your faith and your face in someone else's hands! I have zero regrets and will be returning to him in the future for any additional needs or concerns.
