His clinical home is The Spiegel Center, a Boston-area practice recognized for its emphasis on facial rejuvenation. There, Dr. Tower works alongside a team known for advanced facial surgery.

Dr. Tower earned his medical degree from the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. His training reflects a commitment to the anatomy and technique that facial surgery demands.

The deep plane facelift is central to his surgical interest. This technique addresses the deeper structural layers of the face rather than simply tightening the skin.

A deep plane facelift works beneath the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of muscle and connective tissue that supports the face). By repositioning this layer, the procedure restores a natural contour without a pulled appearance.

Dr. Tower is described as double board-certified, holding credentials in facial plastic surgery and in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery. This dual foundation reflects deep training in the structures of the face and neck.

His philosophy centers on results that look natural rather than operated. For patients in their fifties and sixties, this means softening the signs of facial aging while preserving individual character.

Dr. Tower is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc. Membership in this society reflects a professional commitment to the specialty.

Beyond surgery, he places emphasis on the consultation itself. Patients describe him as attentive to their goals and careful to explain what each procedure can and cannot achieve.

Recovery guidance forms an important part of his practice. Dr. Tower prepares patients for the realistic timeline of swelling, healing, and the gradual emergence of final results over several months.

His practice in Boston places him within one of the most respected medical communities in the United States. The city's academic hospitals and surgical culture shape a high standard for surgical care.

Dr. Tower represents a newer generation of facial surgeons trained in modern deep plane methods. Some patients specifically seek surgeons who trained during the era when these advanced techniques became standard.

He maintains an educational presence on social media under the handle drjtower. There he shares insight into his background and his approach to facial surgery.

For patients considering facial rejuvenation, Dr. Jacob Tower offers a combination of specialized training, a focused practice, and a Boston setting known for surgical excellence.

I really like Dr. Tower. He is very committed to making sure that my nose looks the way I would like it to. In the end, I am positive it will. Christina, his assistant is outstanding at making sure that if I need something from Dr. Tower, she make sure it happens. I am in the process of healing from a rhinoplasty that I had done in July 2025 . I think the most important thing to understand when you have a rhinoplasty done is that it really does take a good two years before all the inflammation goes down. Dr. Tower uses a technique that does help that process to happen a little more quickly. Dr. Tower doesn’t just do your surgery and then forget about you. He constantly follows up with you to make sure things are healing appropriately. Thank you, Christina and Dr. Tower Tracy

My experience with Spiegel was very satisfying. DR. Tower was very informative and knowledgeable of his medical field. The surgery went well and I'm healing wonderfully. As a dark skin client, I'm happy how my skin looks after surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Tower.

I chose Dr. Tower because of his excellent credentials and, being on the younger side, I felt confident he had the most up-to-date training in the newest and best surgical techniques. What truly exceeded my expectations, though, was his ability to immediately put me at ease—from our first consultation, through surgery, and well into recovery. His bedside manner is exceptional: calm, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. From the very beginning, I felt I could trust him with such an important and personal decision. I had an upper blepharoplasty, brow lift, and lip lift, and the quality of his work is nothing short of impeccable. I am extremely detail-oriented and research everything thoroughly; I ask very specific questions about techniques, materials, sutures, and overall surgical planning. Every aspect of Dr. Tower’s approach checked all the boxes for what I consider best-in-class, modern surgical care. My results are truly outstanding. I look refreshed, lifted, and polished, yet completely like myself. No one would ever guess I’ve had work done, but my confidence has been restored to how I felt in my 20s, before motherhood changed the way I saw myself. That balance—beautiful results without altering identity—is incredibly rare and speaks to Dr. Tower’s skill and aesthetic judgment. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Tower. I feel so fortunate to have found him and will absolutely trust him with all of my future aesthetic procedures. Highly, highly recommend.

I met Dr. Tower a couple of years ago when I was looking for a facial enhancement. After evaluating my profile, he recommended a chin implant. I decided to move forward with it, and I truly couldn’t be happier with that decision. It made such a beautiful and balanced difference in my face. Recently, I visited him again after having a nose job in Turkey. During my recovery, a small skin infection appeared on my nose, and naturally, I felt worried. I reached out to Dr. Tower for professional help, and he was incredibly kind and attentive. He saw me a couple of times to closely monitor the situation and make sure the infection was fully under control. Thankfully, the issue was resolved within a week. It wasn’t a major complication, but at the time I was scared and having a knowledgeable, trustworthy professional guiding me made all the difference. I’m truly grateful for his care and support. Dr. Tower is highly professional, experienced, and someone I completely trust.

Dr. Tower's Surgical Approach

Dr. Jacob Tower approaches the deep plane facelift as a structural procedure rather than a skin-tightening one.

Dr. Jacob Tower approaches the deep plane facelift as a structural procedure rather than a skin-tightening one. The distinction matters, because lasting results depend on repositioning the deeper tissues that shift downward with age.

The technique centers on the SMAS layer — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a sheet of muscle and connective tissue that lies beneath the skin and above the deeper facial structures. This layer is what gives the face its youthful support.
