DeepPlane's record lists the surgeon as board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), the certifying body specific to facial procedures. Readers who wish to confirm this can consult ABFPRS directly.

The deep plane facelift is a central part of what Dr. Sarah Saxon offers at Saxon MD. This technique lifts the face at a deeper tissue level than older methods, repositioning rather than simply tightening skin.

Facial rejuvenation at the practice extends beyond a single operation. The Saxon MD menu lists blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), brow lift, structural neck lift, rhinoplasty and facial implants alongside the deep plane facelift.

Dr. Sarah Saxon also works in facial feminization, a reconstructive focus that reshapes the forehead, brow and jaw. Published interviews describe a path into surgery that began in the visual arts, a background the surgeon connects to facial aesthetics.

The practice frames its surgical philosophy around natural-looking results. For a deep plane facelift, that means addressing the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a layer of muscle and connective tissue beneath the skin) rather than pulling on the surface.

Patients considering Dr. Sarah Saxon typically arrive with concerns about facial aging in the midface, jawline and neck. The deep plane approach is designed to restore position to tissues that descend over time.

Recovery is treated as part of the surgical plan at Saxon MD, not an afterthought. Deep plane facelift healing unfolds over months, with early swelling giving way to settled contours.

The Austin setting matters to many who seek out Dr. Sarah Saxon. The city pairs a relaxed Texas character with a strong medical and technology economy, and the practice's second location in Dallas widens access across the region.

Dr. Sarah Saxon maintains a public presence on Instagram at the handle saxonmd, where the practice shares educational and procedural content. Social channels can help prospective patients understand a surgeon's aesthetic before a consultation.

Non-surgical services complement the surgical work at Saxon MD. The practice lists injectables, laser skin resurfacing, microneedling and skin-tightening treatments for patients not yet ready for surgery.

The deep plane facelift draws patients who want longer-lasting correction than lifts confined to the skin. Dr. Sarah Saxon positions this operation as a structural solution to midface and jawline descent.

Prospective patients should treat this profile as a starting point. DeepPlane.com compiles directory information, and details such as training, fees and availability are confirmed directly with Saxon MD at the time of consultation.

Within Austin's group of deep plane facelift surgeons, Dr. Sarah Saxon practices as a face-focused specialist rather than a generalist, a distinction that many patients researching rhytidectomy (the medical term for a facelift) consider important.

I recently underwent a full face rejuvenation with Dr. Saxon. Forehead reduction, brow lift, orbital rim contour, upper bleph, lip lift, fat injections, deep plane facelift and neck lift. Dr. Saxon is an incredibly skilled surgeon with an artistic eye. My sutures were so clean and meticulous, we really couldn’t believe how nice everything looked right away. I was impressed by the customer service that really went above and beyond what was expected. Of all the concerns I had going into this, none of them were for the quality of care or the level of skill. It can be hard to pick the right surgeon, natural results were really important to me, and I’m SO happy with my decision. I flew home on day 8 of my recovery, which should have been challenging to navigate, but everything went surprisingly well. It was just an overall great experience. I would encourage you to follow her on You Tube and Instagram (you don’t know what you don’t know); educating yourself is a really important part of a life changing operation such as this. (Photos range from day 1 to day 7 post op) UPDATE: I just reached a one month mark. I have had an amazing experience. I can’t imagine any way it could’ve went any better. Adding some photos after healing for a few weeks. 6 month update: last 7 photos (I think it worth mentioning, I do not do fillers.)

I am about a month out from otoplasty with Dr. Saxon and highly recommend her and her team! I had been wanting to do this for many years and have had many consults and done much research on it and one of the things someone said was since it is a more specialized surgery to not go to someone who only offers the procedure under general anesthesia and quotes 2+ hours because then it's possible the surgeon may not know what they are doing and you want a specialist to do it. When I met with Dr. Saxon she said she could do the procedure under local, with no anxiety med required, and I could drive home the same day. When I heard that, combined with her training as an ENT with plastics, I knew she was the surgeon I wanted. She made me feel totally comfortable and she has a great bedside manner - she really makes an attempt to know you personally and makes you feel special. But the biggest reason I recommend her is her skill, talent, and eye as an artist. The results are impactful while still looking natural. Everything looks like its in the exact anatomical position it's meant to be in! All of her support staff/team is also comforting and accommodating. I am so happy with my experience and highly recommend going to see her.

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I’m 44 and very selective about who I trust with my face. The surgeon is extremely knowledgeable, honest, attentive, and talented. The entire team truly takes the time to listen to my concerns and carefully explain every option. I really appreciate that their focus is on enhancing your natural features while still keeping you looking like yourself. My results always look refreshed, balanced, and never overdone. I also have to give a special shoutout to Shivani, who does my microneedling. She is incredibly talented and has such a great eye for what my skin needs. She is gentle, thorough, and very precise, and she always makes me feel comfortable throughout the treatment. Shivani is not only highly skilled at what she does, but also kind, welcoming, and a true perfectionist. My skin looks smoother, brighter, healthier, and more even after my treatments. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for trustworthy facial care and beautiful, natural-looking results.

On August 4, I had a deep plane face lift (mid/jaw/neck), brow lift, canthoplasty, lip lift, autologous fat transfer, and PRF injections into the incisions. I am 48-year-old woman, and have had past plastic surgeries in my 30s and 40s. I am post-operative day 10, and to say that I am pleased is an understatement; I am ecstatic. Even on this day so close to the surgical date, Dr. Saxon's precision and skill as a surgeon is demonstrated. The incisions are tight and clean, my face is balanced and sculpted, and I think that my 48 (going on 49) year old face might look like I am 28 in as soon as a month. I have no worries returning to work next week, which for many may be a concern. (Not gonna lie, recovery is not a cake walk, but a lot runs through your head during this time. Give yourself rest and grace here!) My consult, surgery and post-op care visits and communications with her and her staff are nothing short of top-tier, luxury treatment. She (and her staff) are calm, intuitive, responsive, empathic, authentic, and did not leave me on "read." When I went in for suture and staple removal, I left exalted at how careful and communicative (and well-credentialed) she and her entire staff are. I felt truly cared for by expert hands! Dr. Saxon is a true genius and expert at her craft. In no way did I feel like she "forced" a certain beauty standard that is current on instagram. Instead, she accentuated and enhanced what makes my face beautiful, and balanced it. Isn't that really what we all want? She is a true master. I feel like I will look more beautiful at my current age, than I ever did at 28. I hope that I was able to help anyone looking for a facelift to choose Dr. Sarah Saxon. The whole experience has been uplifting and I am so grateful for her and her entire team's expertise.
