Medical education for Dr. Stallworth took place at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, according to DeepPlane's record. San Antonio is therefore both the city where the surgeon trained and the city where the surgeon now practices.

A published news profile describes Dr. Stallworth as a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The academy is a professional society for surgeons who concentrate on the face, head and neck, and membership details can be checked with the academy itself.

University Health, the public health system serving San Antonio and Bexar County, also includes Dr. Stallworth in its online provider directory. Patients researching the surgeon can read that listing alongside the Stallworth Institute profile to understand where care is delivered.

News coverage reports that Dr. Stallworth has joined humanitarian surgical missions abroad, including a mission to Northern Peru. According to the surgeon's own announcement of that trip, the work focuses on cleft lip and palate care and highlights the need for it in the region.

Reconstructive surgery relies on a detailed understanding of facial anatomy. Cleft repair and facial reconstruction both involve careful work with muscle, skin and the supporting layers beneath them — the same layers a deep plane facelift is designed to address.

A deep plane facelift is a type of rhytidectomy (the medical name for a facelift) that lifts the SMAS (the muscle-and-fascia layer beneath the skin) together with the overlying skin. Instead of pulling the surface tight, the technique relies on tissue repositioning to return the cheeks, jawline and neck toward a more youthful position.

Facelift planning often extends to neighboring areas such as the neck, brow and eyelids. Patients can ask Stallworth Institute which related procedures are offered, since combining treatments may address several signs of facial aging within one recovery period.

The goal of modern facial rejuvenation is a result that looks rested rather than operated on. For women in their late fifties and sixties, that usually means a cleaner jawline, a smoother neck and cheeks that sit higher, while familiar expressions stay intact.

Recovery after a deep plane facelift generally unfolds over weeks rather than days. Swelling and bruising tend to peak in the first two weeks, and the face keeps refining for several months as the deeper tissues settle into their new position.

A consultation is where a general technique becomes a personal surgical plan. During that visit, patients can expect to discuss their goals, health background, medications and photographs, along with how the procedure would be tailored to their own facial structure.

Dr. Stallworth shares practice updates on Instagram under the handle @stallworthmd. Social media offers an informal look at a practice's style, though it cannot replace a careful look at before-and-after photographs and a frank conversation about realistic outcomes.

Stallworth Institute is based in San Antonio, a South Texas city known for the River Walk, its Spanish colonial missions and a large academic medical community. Travelers from elsewhere in Texas can reach the city easily by highway or through San Antonio International Airport.

DeepPlane's profile of Dr. Christian Stallworth is meant as a starting point for research rather than a final decision. Pricing, availability and current credentials should be confirmed directly with the practice and the relevant boards before you commit to surgery.

We found Dr. Stallworth after meeting with several plastic surgeons, both in Austin and San Antonio and we immediately felt a connection with him so we decided to drive from Austin to have him perform our daughters Rhinoplasty. He is extremely capable, confident, kind, and professional. He did an amazing job on my daughter’s rhinoplasty, and she couldn’t be happier with her results. Her confidence has truly grown, and that means so much to us as parents. I also admire that he gives back through mission trips, providing pro bono surgeries to people in need. We highly recommend Dr. Stallworth and his wonderful staff! Five star all the way.
