More than 90% of the surgeries I perform today are deep plane facelifts with fat grafting — three a week, around 150 a year, by deliberate choice. The pairing is the point: the deep plane repositions the facial structures that have descended, releasing the retaining ligaments and mobilizing the SMAS so tissue moves without tension on the skin — tension is what creates the operated look. Micro- and nanofat grafting restores the volume that time has taken away; I keep the cannula in constant motion, placing microdroplets across multiple planes, because respecting the tissue is what makes a graft predictable. The neck is treated in the same deep plane session whenever indicated, and eyebrow position and the lip are addressed within the facelift itself when they need it — not sold as separate operations. The goal is a face that looks rested, not different: people should think you changed your hair or finally slept well — never that you had surgery.

I ask international patients to plan a minimum of fifteen full days in Londrina: two days before surgery for the in-person consultation and final preoperative checks, the day of surgery, and twelve days after, when I follow the early healing personally. Routine follow-up visits are included in the surgical fee — recovery is not outsourced. Swelling and bruising peak in the first days and improve steadily; most patients feel socially presentable in two to three weeks, with residual swelling settling over the following months. I would rather stage procedures than stack them into one long operation: shorter surgeries recover better and more safely, and I say no to combinations that would compromise that.

A good candidate has what the deep plane actually treats: structural descent of the deep facial tissues — jowls, a blurred jawline, deepened folds, sagging in the neck — usually combined with the volume loss of facial aging, which is why I operate the two together. In consultation I evaluate the whole face, the medical history and, above all, the expectations; every patient goes through complete preoperative testing, including laboratory work and cardiac evaluation. I prioritize adequacy over volume: not everyone who wants a facelift is a good candidate, and I decline surgery when it is not the right answer or when expectations cannot honestly be met. Honoring my father's legacy, I would rather do a few procedures with mastery than many superficially — the natural result must preserve each patient's identity.

My published prices are all-inclusive for the standard case: the operation, the anesthesia team, the facility and routine follow-up visits. What moves a quote is complexity — what a particular face needs. Blepharoplasty, brow elevation and lip lift, when indicated, are already included in the deep plane facelift — they are not billed as separate operations. The all-in cost — surgeon, facility and anesthesia — is typically $10,000–$11,000. For any of these as an isolated procedure, please ask for a quote. Booking a surgery date takes a 10% deposit. International patients can pay by card, bank transfer or PayPal; Brazilian patients can split payment in up to ten interest-free card installments.
