After a botched under-eye fat transfer from another surgeon left my eyes looking unnatural, I was referred to Dr. Massry. He explained my options and performed corrective work that restored my under-eye area. He's not only extremely talented but also incredibly kind and reassured me throughout the entire process. I’m grateful for his expertise and compassionate care, and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking an experienced oculoplastic surgeon.

I recently had a bilateral lower blephoplasty with fat repositioning and fat transfer with Dr Massry and could not be happier with my results. This was my first cosmetic surgery so I was very nervous and decided if I was going to go though with it, it had to be with the very best. After a lot of research and a referral from a friend, I decided to consult with Dr Massry who’s credentials and reputation speak for themselves. I live about 2 1/2 hours from Los Angeles so appreciated that his office was conveniently located on Robertson and that the building had its own parking garage. The staff and Dr Wong, whom I met with first, were so friendly and accommodating. Dr Massry was prompt to my appointment time and I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I was slightly intimidated as I’ve followed him on instagram for so long, I didn’t know what I should expect. However, as soon we made introductions and started chatting, I was immediately at ease. Dr Massry was so friendly and kind. He took time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. He gave me his honest opinion about what my expectations should be and the risks that can accompany any surgery, especially a fat transfer, which I really appreciated. He never tried to sell me on anything more than what I came for. I turn 50 in a few months and my eyes have really started to bother me. I have naturally deep set eyes that have lost a lot of their volume both above and below. I inquired about options for the upper as well, but Dr Massry pointed out that messing with the upper eyelid could change the look of my eye and risk making me look different. Again, I was pleasantly surprised that instead of doing something that would ultimately make him more money, his only priority was what best suited for my face and keeping a natural aesthetic. I knew I was in the right hands. I scheduled my surgery shortly after, which can be quite challenging with schedules and downtime, but Dr Massry’s surgical coordinator Veronika made everything a breeze, including my many, many questions.:) The surgery center was wonderful as well. My surgery and recovery were so much easier than I expected and I’m now kicking myself I waited so long to do this. My eyes look so amazing. I look natural and like myself just refreshed. Thank you Dr Massry, Dr Wong, Veronika and the entire staff. You truly are the best!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Massry. I'm only 9 days out and am already very happy with my results - it's been a super smooth process with zero complications. With a procedure like this I didn't want to cheap out and the results are really reflected in the money (at end of the day you're paying for the best in the world). Dr. Massry, Dr. Wong, Vernoika, and Christna were very accommodating and professional. It's been worth every dollar!

Recovery from a deep plane facelift typically involves 2-3 weeks of initial healing, with most visible bruising resolving within 7-10 days and sutures removed at days 7-10. International patients can generally travel home after 10-14 days once swelling has stabilised and wound checks are complete. Most patients return to desk work at 2-3 weeks and to exercise at 4-6 weeks. Final results become visible after 3-6 months as deep tissue swelling fully resolves. Dr. Guy Massry provides a personalised recovery timeline during consultation.

Deep plane facelift results typically last 10-15 years, significantly longer than traditional SMAS or mini-facelift procedures, which tend to last 5-8 years. The deep plane technique repositions deeper facial tissues — including the SMAS-platysma composite and the released retaining ligaments — rather than simply tightening skin, which produces more natural, longer-lasting rejuvenation. Longevity also depends on individual ageing biology, sun exposure, smoking status, and skincare. Dr. Guy Massry can discuss expected outcomes for your anatomy during consultation.
