Signature technique

Dr. C. Wever has pioneered the CORE facelift technique at his practice, a sophisticated methodology designed to comprehensively address the complexities of facial aging. This innovative approach moves beyond traditional skin tightening by strategically incorporating fat augmentation to restore volume loss that naturally occurs with age. By simultaneously addressing both tissue descent and volume depletion, the CORE facelift aims for more complete and harmonious rejuvenation. Furthermore, his technique emphasizes medial ligament release, a crucial refinement that enhances facial contour restoration and allows for comprehensive repositioning of descended facial tissues while preserving natural expressions.

About

Performing approximately 350 facial operations each year, Dr. Capi C. Wever is a facial plastic surgeon based near Amsterdam who focuses exclusively on the aging face and the nose. As of July 2026, he practices at Wever Clinic in Wassenaar, in the Netherlands, where every case involves the face and nothing else.

Dr. Capi C. Wever brings more than 16 years of surgical experience to his work in facial rejuvenation. His clinic describes a single, clear vision: a purely surgical practice with one operating surgeon and one anatomical focus.

Dr. Capi C. Wever completed his medical education at Radboud University Nijmegen, one of the respected academic centres in the Netherlands. His training grounds his approach in the detailed facial anatomy that deep plane surgery demands.

The deep plane facelift is one of the procedures at the centre of his practice. This technique works beneath the SMAS (the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a supportive layer of muscle and connective tissue in the face) to reposition tissue rather than simply tightening skin.

Dr. Capi C. Wever is also associated with what his practice describes as the CORE Facelift, along with fat augmentation used as an adjunct and medial ligament release. These reflect a technique-driven interest in the ligaments and volume relationships that shape a natural result.

His surgical philosophy emphasises natural, long-lasting outcomes. The clinic's stated goal is rejuvenation that reads as authentic in both movement and rest, and that continues to look balanced over the years rather than appearing pulled.

Dr. Capi C. Wever operates within a narrow scope by design. His clinic notes that it does not offer laser or other energy-based devices, and treats only a small, fixed group of patients with Botox and fillers — a reflection of the surgical concentration of the practice.

He reports having performed around 6,000 rhinoplasty and face, neck, and forehead lift procedures over the course of his career. This cumulative volume places him among the more experienced facial surgeons working in Europe.

Dr. Capi C. Wever divides his annual work between roughly 170 rhinoplasty procedures and more than 50 facial rejuvenation operations. This dual concentration on the nose and the aging face is unusual and reflects deep familiarity with facial structure.

Education is a visible part of his professional identity. His public profile references invited international lectures and participation in academic meetings, including a scheduled appearance at a facial plastic surgery gathering in Las Vegas.

Recovery is a topic Dr. Capi C. Wever's patients discuss during planning, since a deep plane facelift involves a defined healing arc. Most patients move through an early phase of swelling and bruising before returning gradually to daily life over several weeks.

Dr. Capi C. Wever's clinic sits in Wassenaar, an affluent town near Amsterdam known for its quiet, green setting and easy connection to the wider region. This location offers a calm environment for consultation and recovery.

His patient-first, ethics-focused reputation is a recurring theme in profiles written about him. The emphasis on honest expectation-setting fits a practice that limits its scope to what it does most often.

Dr. Capi C. Wever represents a model of specialisation that some patients actively seek: a single surgeon, a defined menu of facial procedures, and a stated commitment to perfectionism. For those researching deep plane facelift options near Amsterdam, his profile is a considered starting point.

Dr. Capi C. Wever continues to combine high procedural volume with an academic teaching presence, a pairing that many patients value when choosing a facial surgeon.

I am very satisfied with the result. I had a very good experience from start to finish!

A few years ago, I had a deep plane facelift with my neck done by Dr. Wever, around age 43. Due to weight gain and previous fillers, I had a lot of sagging around my jaw and cheeks. Dr. Wever really listened to my wishes and looked at my face as a whole. First, the old fillers were dissolved free of charge, which I really appreciated. After the surgery, the swelling often left me feeling unsure; will this ever improve? But I could always call (and believe me, almost daily), and they always took the time to talk to me. That personal attention really makes all the difference! After a few weeks, I saw the results and was so happy: I recognized myself again, but fresher and more natural. A scar that hadn't healed well was also neatly revised later. The service and dedication of Dr. Wever and his team are exceptional. Not a conveyor belt clinic, but genuine attention. Highly recommended!

I had a full facelift and lip lift done in January 2025; now, a year later, the result is beautiful. Why Dr. Wever? He doesn't say yes to everything, is extremely skilled, warm, and makes a very exciting experience feel like a luxury vacation. This feeling and experience is fantastic. I can be reached via Dr. Wever for questions and advice.

After a long search, I came across Dr. Wever's clinic. From my first telephone contact, I knew I had found the right clinic. The team's professional and empathetic approach is admirable. I was guided exceptionally well throughout the entire process and felt comfortable and safe. I experienced Dr. Wever as an extremely perfectionist, reliable, and honest doctor—a true artist in his field. The result of my deep plane facelift, neck lift, and forehead lift is beautiful, refreshing, but above all, very natural. Exactly what I was looking for. A big Hats Off to Clinic Dr. Wever.

Dr. Wever's Surgical Approach

Dr. Capi C.

Dr. Capi C. Wever approaches the deep plane facelift as a procedure of repositioning rather than tightening, working beneath the surface layers of the face to restore youthful contour. This philosophy sits at the heart of his stated goal of natural, durable rejuvenation.

The deep plane technique operates below the SMAS — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, a sheet of muscle and connective tissue that supports the mid and lower face. By releasing and elevating this layer as a unit with the overlying skin, the surgeon avoids the tension on skin alone that can produce an operated appearance.
