Dr. Raza's Surgical Approach

MD Sheraz Raza's approach to deep plane facelift surgery involves the advanced technique of sub-SMAS dissection, a method that addresses facial aging at its structural foundation. The SMAS layer, a fibromuscular sheet that connects facial muscles to the overlying skin, serves as the key anatomical plane for this sophisticated procedure.

During a deep plane facelift, the surgeon carefully releases specific retaining ligaments that tether the SMAS to deeper structures, allowing for comprehensive repositioning of descended facial tissues.

This technique differs from traditional facelift methods by maintaining the integrity of the skin-SMAS unit, preserving natural facial expressions while achieving dramatic rejuvenation. The deep plane approach specifically targets the midface descent that occurs with aging, repositioning the malar fat pad to restore youthful cheek prominence. Surgical precision in this technique requires understanding the complex anatomy of facial nerve branches that traverse the surgical plane.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Shiraz Raza at IMC Hospital, DHA 5, Lahore and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I had a horrible nose with big hump and deviation along with multiple concerns and I was extremely scared of general anesthesia as well due to my liver and portal vein issues but Dr Sheraz Raza's anesthesia team handled the dose with great care and professionalism that i woke up after procedure without any complications. The results are very natural, balanced, and exactly as I hoped for. Dr. Shiraz Raza is highly skilled, Super Professional in his work but above all he is a super nice human being. Strongly recommended for anyone considering rhinoplasty...

After my first consultation with him, I immediately felt at ease, his presence, MashaAllah, made me feel like I was in the right hands. The entire process was incredibly smooth and surprisingly painless. Right after my surgery and throughout the weeks leading into recovery, I had so many questions, and Dr. Sheraz was always quick to respond to them, which made me feel very comfortable and supported throughout the whole process. His precision and attention to detail are truly outstanding, he achieved exactly the look I wanted, even better by making it fit so perfectly and naturally with the rest of my features.
