What I particularly appreciated was the honest approach: what is realistically possible is defined upfront, and during surgery it is assessed whether slightly more can be achieved – always with safety and long-term sense in mind. There were no unrealistic promises. In my case, a reduction of around 2 cm was planned, and approximately 2.5 cm (≈1 inch) could ultimately be achieved. The procedure itself is performed under sedation (not general anaesthesia), with an experienced anaesthetist present throughout. The setting feels calm and controlled – more comparable to a dentist’s chair than a traditional operating theatre. I was even able to choose my own music during the procedure, which made the experience noticeably more relaxed. The incision line already looked extremely clean, straight and well executed immediately after surgery, and healing progressed smoothly from the start. You can tell that this is a surgeon who values quality over quantity and specialises deeply rather than offering dozens of unrelated procedures. The aftercare and coordination were excellent. Jacqueline and Talia were consistently kind, responsive and helpful, answering questions promptly and making the entire process easy – even when travelling internationally.
