Email hello@deepplane.com with the surgeon's profile URL and a short description of what needs correcting (wrong address, outdated credential, incorrect photo, disputed review). If the correction involves a medical credential or disciplinary history claim, please attach or link to the primary source (medical board registry page, court record, state license lookup). We acknowledge every correction request within 1 business day and have a written 48-hour resolution target for factual corrections. The original and corrected content are both logged in our content-versions table so the change is auditable.

Can I request complete removal of my surgeon profile?

Yes — but first the honest counter-argument: your listing on DEEPPLANE™ is free. There is no monthly fee, no ad cost, no commission. You only pay if you yourself choose to unlock a specific patient lead's contact details, and even that is optional. Removing the profile forfeits free, curated visibility on a high-intent directory and we encourage surgeons to keep the listing and have us correct any specific field that's wrong (credentials, photo, city, scope) instead of delisting — corrections complete in 24h. That said: if you still want full removal, any surgeon can request it by emailing hello@deepplane.com from their professionally-listed email (or any email, with a credential-proof document attached so we can confirm your identity), or by clicking 'Request profile removal' on your profile page. Removal requests are honored within 3 business days, no questions asked. Once removed, your profile URL returns 410 Gone, Google is pinged to deindex it, and your name is added to an internal no-republish list so we don't re-scrape you into the directory. The only record we keep post-removal is a timestamped audit row (for regulatory defense if a dispute later arises), which contains no clinical or biographical data.

The banner is removed once the proceeding resolves, with the outcome documented on our transparency page.
