Deep Plane Facelift: Turkey vs. Ireland
Быстрый Ответ
Should I get a deep plane facelift in Turkey or Ireland?
DEEPPLANE™'s registry lists the surgery at 10 000 $–12 000 $ (about 9 200 €–11 040 €) in Turkey (181 active surgeons) and 18 000 $–22 000 $ (about 16 560 €–20 240 €) in Ireland (1 active). With so few listings, treat that range as thin. Choosing Turkey means travel, a 7-10 day stay and follow-up at a distance; staying in Ireland keeps follow-up local. In either country the deciding factor is the individual surgeon's certification and deep plane case volume, not the country.

This page is for a patient who lives in Ireland and is weighing surgery in Turkey against surgery at home. It shows what our registry lists for each country, what the trip involves, and what to check before you pay a deposit. It does not tell you which surgeon to choose.

Which Fits You: Turkey or Ireland?
The listed ranges differ by 6 000 $–12 000 $ before flights and accommodation. DEEPPLANE™ holds no breakdown of why they differ, and a lower range says nothing about an individual surgeon.
Turkey may fit if...
- Price is a primary constraint for you
- You can take 7-10 days away from home and work
- You have agreed in writing how follow-up works once you are back in Ireland
Ireland may fit if...
- You want no international travel
- In-person follow-up with the same surgeon matters most to you
- Your budget allows the higher listed range
How Do You Check a Surgeon in Each Country?
Turkey
Licensure runs through the Turkish Ministry of Health. The two documents to ask for, and where to check them, are listed in the trip section below.
Ireland
Our surgeon profiles do not yet name a credential body for Ireland, so we cannot point you to one: ask the surgeon which register or society lists them, and check it yourself.

Deep plane facelift in Turkey from Ireland: trip, stay and follow-up
Citizens of many countries can obtain a Turkish e-visa online, valid for 90 days and usable to enter through any Turkish airport; check your own passport's rule before you book.
Plan a realistic 7-10 day stay in Turkey for follow-up before flying home, and agree the earliest safe fly-home date with your surgeon.
Ask for these two documents by name before you pay a deposit.
- International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate of the facility (Regulation no. 30123, Official Gazette 13 July 2017). This authorization is granted to a facility, and it is the document Turkish law requires before that facility may treat international patients. It is not a rating of the surgeon, of the operation, or of the result. It says the premises are permitted to do this work — not how well. Not finding a surgeon here does not mean they are unauthorized: many operate inside a hospital that holds the certificate under the hospital's own name. The Ministry publishes its register at healthturkiye.gov.tr.
- Check the surgeon in the directory of the Turkish plastic surgery board (TPRECD) or the European board (EBOPRAS), and in the member directory of TSPRAS or ISAPS, instead of relying on a clinic's own page.
Ask the surgeon in writing how follow-up is handled once you are home, and who you contact in Ireland. DEEPPLANE™ holds no outcome data for follow-up after a patient flies home.
What your own government says
“Individuals should be aware that all surgery contains an element of risk and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is aware of citizens who have experienced complications in the course of their treatment in Türkiye, and a number who have died.”
“Individuals should also familiarise themselves with any follow-up treatment or process that may be required.”
Surgeons we list in Turkey are shown with the verification level they have reached; unverified ones are listed from public sources only. Deep plane facelift in Turkey: see the surgeons we list.

DEEPPLANE™ editorial standard
The DEEPPLANE™ Review Council is the name under which DEEPPLANE™ publishes its editorial standard; it is not a standing board of named surgeons. Our guides are written and edited in-house to that standard. Review is recorded per article, not claimed for the site as a whole — a guide names a surgeon as its reviewer only when that surgeon has signed it, and says so plainly when none has.
